Mr. Tahnoon Saif is Chief Executive Officer of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub at Dubai South. In this role he oversees the development and execution of the Aviation District including development of the business strategy and master plan for this multi-phased aerospace infrastructure development. With more than 24 years of working experience, Saif positioned himself as a professional in the fields of aviation and strategy development. Prior to his existing role, he was Vice-President for Strategy at Dubai South responsible for developing and facilitating the execution of the corporate strategy and ensuring the alignment of business and functional units with corporate strategy. He led the development of Dubai Freezones Council Strategy, Dubai International Airport-Al Maktoum International Airport Transition Strategy, and participated in developing Dubai Industrial Strategy. Tahnoon is a Stanford University-certified Aviation Management Professional (AvMP) and holds a certification in Strategic Airport Management from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). He earned his MBA from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA.


Mr. Louis Wilson is Military Marketing Manager Lead with Leonardo Helicopters UK. He joined the company in 2016 following a 30 year operationally dominated career in the Royal Navy as a ship’s navigator, helicopter pilot, warfare officer and staff officer. This included Carrier and Small Ship’s Flight flying operations in the Mediterranean, South Atlantic, Gulf, Caribbean and North Atlantic. In his staff roles he has experience of training ships to operate their aircraft, in HR and worked for the Director Army Aviation fielding the Apache helicopter for land operations. He has commanded aviation units at both squadron and force level; his last post was the Wildcat and Lynx Force Commander at RNAS Yeovilton where he oversaw the introduction of AW159 to RN service. He is a graduate of Joint Advanced Warfighting School in Norfolk Virginia, USA and remains a serving Air Branch Royal Navy Reservist.

 


Mr. Talal Al Hammadi, Vice President - Air Traffic Development, DANS - Dubai Air Navigation Services.

Talal leads two Operational Departments, the Airspace Management Department and the Operational Training & Standards Department. With his diverse and vast experience and knowledge, Talal was able to lead and deliver high level strategic projects that contribute to transforming the Aviation sector in the UAE such as the Airspace Restructuring Project (ARP), the RECAT project, the launch of the Airspace Management Cell (AMC), as well as the airspace procedure design involved to commence Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA). Part of his role is ensure airspace design is carried out in accordance with applicable ICAO standards, while represent dans in various ICAO functions. 

 


Mr. Mohammad Al Dossari is a holder Msc in Aviation Safety and is currently the Senior Director Air Navigation & Aerodromes Department responsible for regulating and over sighting the provision of services by Civil Air Navigation Service Providers and Aerodrome Operators including Search and Rescue Provision in the UAE, through a qualified team of multidisciplinary experts including Air Traffic Services, Air Traffic Management, Aeronautical Information Services, Communication Navigation Surveillance, Civil Aviation Search & Rescue, Aviation Meteorology, Aerodrome Operations, Rescue Firefighting Services and Aerodrome Emergency Services, heliports, oil and Gas organisations. He is also involved at the international and regional level as the as the Vice Chairman of ICAO’s Air Traffic Managements Operations Panel and was previously held the role of Assistant Director General for Air Accident Investigation in the UAE. He was responsible of Air Accident Investigation body in the UAE and hence responsible of the implementation of ANNEX 13

 


Ms. Isabella Abbate is the Executive Director of the European Helicopter Association, representing and promoting the interests of helicopter operators, national associations, manufacturers, service providers, suppliers et al., and being involved in the development of the rotorcraft and VTOL policies in the European and International institutions. Before joining the European Helicopter Association, Isabella was based in Brussels, Belgium where she worked as external consultant in the field of public relations for the Directorate-General for Communication of the European Commission. An international and multilingual aviation management professional, Isabella has lived in six different countries in the last ten years, which allowed her to broaden skills in multicultural engagement and business outreach.

 

 


Dr. Eng. Suaad Alshamsi, Aviation Advisor, Etihad Airways

 Dr. Eng. Suaad graduated with DBA in aviation management from American academy for specialized studies as well as he she is holding MBA from Coventry University in aviation management as well as she is holding degree in Aerospace Engineering from Hertfordshire University along with Bachelor’s degree in aviation management from Coventry University in UK.

She embarked on this journey in the aviation industry when she joined many leading companies involved in aviation as a part of her training in aircraft engineering field such as Messier Bugatti, Honeywell, Kunz, Airbus and Boeing. She joined emirates airlines as first aircraft engineer in UAE and been working in maintenance field for more than 10 years and continue her growth in the aviation and now she is working as senior manager and technical advisor for one of the biggest aviation project in UAE [midfield terminal project] which is Abudhabi new airport with Etihad airways.

 Ms. Ksenia Neuwirth being uncharge of building the presence and operations of the unique unmanned helicopters designed, developed and manufactured bu Aura Group of Companies in the Middle East and Africa region. Ms. Ksenia is in charge of the development of the various use cases and areas of applications of heavy-lift Aura UAVs, working hand in hand with various ministries, national associations, service providers, semi-government and private stakeholders in the Middle East and Africa region. Being based in the Middle East for the last 13 years, Ms. Ksenia has a solid corporate expertise and the proven track-record of the executed projects in the field of investments, technologies transfers and adaptations and bringing new products and services to the GCC markets.

Colonel Michael Black , Chief, Office of Defense Partnership, United States Central Command

 Colonel Michael Black is the Chief, Office of Defense Partnership in the United States Embassy, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where he leads the liaison mission between the Emirati armed forces and US Department of Defense in sharing common national and regional security objectives in military equipment, services, and training. Colonel Black is a senior pilot in the US Air Force and has had multiple tours of duty specializing in bilateral and multilateral security cooperation, including Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Indo-Pacific.

 

 


Mr. Ankit Kumar is a Mechanical Engineer by academics and has worked for a leading automotive brand Mahindra & Mahindra in past. In all, he has more than 9 years of expertise in investment, financial risk management, strategy development, growth consulting for industries such as Automotive, Electric Vehicle, Drones, UTM and Clean Energy. He has helped many MNC’s to grow in their domestic market as well as explore emerging markets that includes but not limited to India, SE Asia, Japan, UK, USA and UAE. In past, he has helped companies like Terra Drone, AirMap and others to establish operations in India. He is a Board Member & Director of Skye Air Mobility, India based Drone Delivery tech firm with wide ongoing operations in India with multiple logistics and healthcare companies. At Skye Air, he is spearheading the company towards establishing operations in multiple countries to enable faster healthcare and other package deliveries. In his own words “As a society, we need to achieve a state where medicines reach us faster than a pizza, so that no life can be lost”. He has invested in multiple technology companies based out of UK, India and Singapore. He is also involved in the space to promote active mobility globally.

 


Mr. Stefan Becker, Head of Corporate Development, Swiss Air-Rescue (Rega)

Stefan Becker is Member of Management and Head of Corporate Development for Swiss Air-Rescue Rega. He reports directly to the CEO and holds several university diplomas after his studies in economics, medicine and European management. His key competence is the strategic interdisciplinary approach, especially between economics, medicine, aviation and rulemaking. 

Besides his regular job for Rega, Stefan Becker is the President of the CAMTS Global (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems) and a member of the Board of Directors for the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems in the United States of America (CAMTS). He is also a Board Member and President Emeritus of the European HEMS & Air Ambulance Committee (EHAC). Stefan Becker is a member of the ICAO Helicopter Subgroup (HSG) and a member of the EASA Rotorcraft Committee. In addition, he is a Board Member of the Swiss aviation association AEROSUISSE. As a member of the Safety Working Group (WG4) of the Advisory Council of Aviation Research in Europe (ACARE), he has also worked on the implementation concept of Flightplan 2050, a strategic approach of the European Commission. 


Ms. Sheeba Hasnain, Head of IT Operations - Transportation Systems Department, Government Of Sharjah

Sheeba Hasnain's interest lies in learning and innovating with the pace of technology having 14 years of pioneering global experience in the information technology and business world. Presently she is working at the Government of Sharjah for the Transportation Systems Department. She believes a highly influencing transformational style of leadership can obtain the best strategic IT-business alignment to attain strategic goals of organization (for any vertical). Her research interest lies in usage of cutting edge technologies to run the business with high pace technological growth.

 

 


Mr.Sharief Fahmy , Executive Director, Kaman EMEA

Sharief Fahmy is the Executive Director, for Kaman Aerospace, Fuzing & Precision Products. As a member of the senior staff, Mr. Fahmy is responsible for all of Kaman’s activities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the great Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

 With over 30 years of International Affairs experience and prior to joining Kaman, Mr. Fahmy served in numerous senior executive positions in the Middle East. Most recently, he served as a Strategic Advisor to the Minister of State for Defense, Chief Executive Officer to the Dubai Airshow, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Abu Dhabi, promoting commerce and investment between the USA, UAE and broader MENA region.
